Q6: Provide an example of an arts and culture event and/or program you attended in the last year. Tell us what you most enjoyed about it.

Answer: One of the events I had the pleasure of attending was the ACDC Asian Night Market held here in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event was wonderful and some of the things that I enjoyed was being to meet so many incredible constituents both Asian American and other while trying new foods and learning about the incredible variety of cultures that Las Vegas is home to.

Q7: How do you see the arts benefiting your district?

Q8: 76% of Americans believe the arts are personally important to them (Americans for the Arts). Do you or an immediate family member have experience in the arts?

Answer: Musical, Dance, Photography, Visual, Theatre, Literary Arts, Film

Q9: Please expand on your experience or your family member's experience in the arts.

Answer: Me and all of my family members are big fans of music and the arts. For family outings we frequently go out to listen to music as we understand the importance of it. As a hobby we all love attending art galleries and practicing photography which has helped us better express ourselves and be more appreciative of our environment, that being Las Vegas, only making me more willing to protect and conserve our community.

Q10: Where do you stand on Nevada's current level of State arts and humanity funding?

Answer: I would love to increase the current budget dedicated to Nevada's art and humanity projects. In order to do that I'd love to sit down with some representatives from your organization to see what projects would be most impactful on your agenda, and work with you from there.

Q11: Please provide any additional thoughts on arts-related public policy or funding.

Answer: I support increasing Nevada's investment into the arts while making sure that funding reaches local communities, artists, schools and other organizations. I would also like to see greater access to arts programming for young people and communities that have had less than equal opportunities to participate.
