What is SNAC?
The Southern Nevada Arts Coalition (SNAC) is an organization created by artists and art administrators, with a clear mission: to empower and sustain Southern Nevada through the arts. We are a collective of artists, educators, and administrators who live and work in Southern Nevada and believe in our creative potential.
Southern Nevada Arts Coalition recognizes that small, creative (often self-organized) operations constitute a large catalyst for creative activity and community vitality in southern Nevada. Art fuels, expands, and deepens our intellectual, emotional, and economic capacities while helping us envision new possibilities and more deeply connect with one another. As a grant-making organization, Southern Nevada Arts Coalition will uplift cultural production by empowering creativity, enabling the growth of diverse forms of art, and advocating for support and empowerment of creatives and creative operations that enrich our community.
